Before sunrise

Personal note: I was planning on posting this blog about a month ago, but working two jobs and then about a week and a half ago I had emergency surgery. I am fine, still recovering and am glad to posting photos again on my blog.

The photo plan was to see and photograph the sunrise on Easter morning at Nubble Light, Cape Neddick Maine. Arriving at Sohier Park I noticed clouds on the horizon and wondered if I would see the sun when it would first appear that day.

I saw and captured a few photos of the moon as it was setting in the west. People had gathered for the sunrise service as we watched color appear in the morning sky. The sun then started to illuminate clouds in the sky to the west and even though the sun was still hidden by the clouds at Sohier Park I new soon the sun would light up the new day.
