Last Hour

We had about an hours time before are ship sailed, so we walked back toward the harbor to checked out a few more places on Monhegan. We went into an art gallery, walked by the closed library and just a few yards away was the one room school on the island. Looking at a map Natasha and I saw we had time to explore the ice pond and found that the summer drought had lowered the water level a significant amount.

Back at the wharf on Monhegan, the Balmy Days was returning to take Natasha and I an other day trippers back to Boothbay Harbor and the mainland.

I captured a few more photos from the boat Balmy Days as we departed, but we new we would return to explore more of Monhegan Island in the future.
