Small Color Palette

The autumn of 2025 was not a grand spectacular of color as in some years. The dry summer and fall had trees dropping their leaves before great swaths of colors could be seen.

Going out to photograph with the expectation of taking spectaculars colorful landscapes last year I would have been disappointed but also not seen what was in front of me. I went out and just looked and found natures colorful glory in the small things nature had to offer. The way light illuminated a few leaves or the muted colors of leaves gone pasted their brilliant prime color. Even just color reflected in moving water showed autumn’s splendor.
