Wildlife
I am not a wildlife photographer but I do like to capture wildlife when I can.

Most of the time the animals just happen to be in the same place I am outside walking and taking photos of the area. The deer photo is one example. Natasha and I were walking the trail at the Rachel Carson Preserve in Wells Maine when we came upon these two deer. The did not run away and actually moved closer so I could get better photos of the two deer.

I do go out at times with the intent on getting some wild life photos . The robin and the osprey were two of those kind of photos. There were many robins in the back yard one morning so I went out and waited patiently and was able to take a few images. The osprey nest on Cape Cod I had seen, and took many photos of the bird feeding the young.I could not see the young from the ground but when the osprey spread its wing I new I had taken a decent image. Other times the animals are there because the food is there like the photos of the seal and seagulls.

I like the challenge of wildlife photography and the excitement I feel when I capture an image of an animal in the wild.
