Back On Land

Natasha and I stepped back on land and it felt like stepping back in time on Monhegan Island. For me there seemed to be a photo opportunity where ever I looked. I had keep focused and really look and not just take photos randomly. I took a few photos around the harbor and then we got something to drink and eat before heading up the hill to start exploring the island on foot.

We walk on dirt roads passed places to stay and eat. The land was hilly and we could see the Monhegan Light House from a distance up another hill along with residents houses. There were lobster boats moored in the harbor while we walked passed the post office, the Monhegan Community Church and the Monhegan House a place to stay.

I had picked up a map of the island that showed all the roads and trails and figured out how to get to and old shipwreck in Lobster Cove. Walking along the road for a bit longer we came to the footpath that would take us to the cove and the shipwreck.
